Friends of FIVA USA

Friends of FIVA USA — linking the greater historic vehicle enthusiast community in the United States with a global organization with more than half a century of achievement and experience.

In seeking to more widely share the goals, objectives and benefits of the work of FIVA to the automotive enthusiast community in North America and most specifically the United States, Friends of FIVA USA, together with international FIVA officials and key stakeholders in the collector car arena in the United States to bring the message of FIVA, its resources and ethos to as wide an audience in the country as possible.

Working collaboratively with organizations, entities, individuals and the media to identify how the FIVA Technical Code can be used and combined with existing collector car evaluation and documenting programs, Friends of FIVA USA will further encourage an attitude of curation, care and accuracy in safeguarding the identity of historic vehicles, encouraging their use and preservation by owners and the greater enthusiast community.

Rolling out through the second half of 2026 and with an official launch in the first quarter of 2027, we hope to share the work of FIVA and leverage its experience from the world at large.

This program of "reintroduction" began in June 2026 with the induction of Mr. Jay Leno to the FIVA Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in Los Angeles.
