Friends of FIVA USA wants to create a wider discussion on what FIVA can mean to enthusiasts in the country and to hear from you how we might be more useful in your collecting lives.

A New Approach, New Goals and a New Attitude

We are working to engage the vast enthusiast community in the United States by clearly communicating the benefits of FIVA to all enthusiasts — not just those who have rare and valuable vehicles or simply for event eligibility and acceptance.

We will be working closely and collaboratively with marque clubs, museums, registries and other organizations to communicate the clear message of-

• Clear identification and documentation of their vehicle
• Confirming and preserving provenance
• Confirming level of originality and documenting changes from original build
• Providing meaningful connections to historic vehicle resources internationally
• Providing a level of confidence for the next caretaker
• Instilling in all enthusiasts an ethos of curation — we are all temporary caretakers of objects which have existed before us and to which we have an obligation to preserve for the future.
